Welcome to The Dragons AFC website. Based in Widnes Cheshire, The Dragons AFC are a well established football club and currently provide opportunities to play football for over 100 players from the age of 6 to open age. We are affiliated with the Liverpool County FA . The club prides itself on providing a friendly and safe environment for both the players and the parents involved with the club. We have put in a great amount of effort to run the club according to the best practices laid down by The FA. To that end we have been awarded the FA Charter Standard Development Club award. We have been recognised as the first club to achieve this award in the Halton and District Junior League and the first club in the borough of Halton. For the season of 2007-8 due to the continued expansion of the Club The Dragons AFC will be entering teams into the Halton and District Junior league. The Warrington Junior league and The Warrington Sunday League. The Dragons AFC soccer school for 4 to 7 year olds is a non competitive fun based session for both boys and girls regardless of ability We are currently looking for enthusiastic and committed players to join in our success.
